For CD quality sound that is Substantially better than the average MP3, @ 96kHz/24-bit HD Audio brings the most realistic Hi Fidelity sound and t sonic detail available to any music file format. Since it is built on a fanless chassis your music is all you will hear. and if you add the optional solid state hard drive you will have all the music with you and not be dependent on internet access.
Adding a MediaPlayer
or IMC
brings the true power of F3 to your wide screen hi-def television, playing archived DVDs, Blu-ray changer control, YouTube clips, Hulu, and even your Netflix "Watch Instantly" queue. The MediaPlayer even acts like another audio zone, allowing you to stream your music collection to your connected home theater system. Whenever you add a new TV or entertainment system, just connect a new MediaPlayer and your entire collection shows up in that room as well!

Discs in the vault remain organized and easy to find. To retrieve one, simply navigate to the title using the onscreen display, and select Eject Disc. The presence of a Blu-ray Disc in the vault enables instant playback of the copy on the server by any M-Class player in the system. If a Blu-ray Disc is ejected, the system cannot play the movie until it is reinserted.
The M700 Disc Vault connects to your home network with an Ethernet cable, and any number of disc vaults can be added to a Kaleidescape System.

Another great feature is Automatic dual encoding which allows you to listen to high quality music at home on the big speakers while having smaller files for iPods and streaming. You can Insert your Blu-ray Discs, DVDs and CDs and the M700 Disc Vault automatically copies them onto your Kaleidescape System. Up to 320 discs can be loaded into the vault making it easy to add great content to your library.
An M-Class player is integrated into the M700 Disc Vault; the disc vault plays the digital copies of movies and music stored on your Kaleidescape System.
